Chris Koeppen is chief executive officer of Aeronix Technologies Group (ATG), where he leads the company’s strategy and growth across its portfolio of aerospace and defense solutions.

Koeppen joined ATG in April 2026 and brings extensive executive leadership experience spanning strategy, operations, growth, mergers and acquisitions, and business transformation. He has a strong track record of leading and growing high technology, mission-critical businesses.

Before joining ATG, Koeppen served as executive vice president and general manager of Coherent Aerospace & Defense, where he led the divestiture of the business into a standalone PE-backed portfolio company. Earlier in career, Koeppen served as chief technology officer at Coherent Corp. and held a series of senior leadership roles spanning general management, strategic technology, product development and engineering. He also was founder and CEO of CardinalPoint Optics, which he guided through a successful acquisition.

Koeppen holds a doctorate in physics from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from Pennsylvania State University.
