With innovation at the forefront, Augustus Aerospace has expanded its operations in Centennial, Colorado, doubling its footprint to 12,000 square feet. On April 11, 2025, the Augustus leadership team held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new facility with Stephanie Piko, Mayor of Centennial, Colorado, to celebrate the new, expanded operation.
This move marks a major milestone in enhancing aerospace advancements, streamlining operations, and pushing the boundaries of technology. As the team and capabilities have expanded, so has the need for a space that matches the vision for the future.
The purpose-built space enhances operational efficiency and enables seamless workflow in a cutting-edge environment. A major highlight of the expansion is the state-of-the-art 4,000-square-foot electronics lab, which allows seamless in-house design, prototyping, and initial production, all within an electrostatic discharge-safe and high-tech environment.
“The new Centennial facility enhances our operation, fosters collaboration, and provides the right environment to continue pushing the boundaries,” said Nathan Smith, President, C6ISR, for Aeronix Technologies Group. “Our new facility prepares us for increased scale and growth for our space-based C6ISR capabilities.”
“The new office represents more than just more physical space,” said Kelly Price, COO of Augustus Aerospace. “It’s a testament to the dedication of the team and our vision for the future. As we expand, Augustus remains focused on developing and delivering cutting-edge solutions and deepening our partnerships with customers across the board.”
The electronics lab is rapidly reconfigurable, allowing quick setup and flexible testing stations to rapidly start up new programs. This helps customers appreciate how quickly the process with Augustus Aerospace can move from design to prototype to production.
The lab is certainly a highlight for employees, who understand the importance it holds for development and operational excellence.
“As we had vastly outgrown the space at our old facility, it was often a struggle to partition adequate workspaces, particularly in the lab areas to complete work,” said Brett Erickson, Mechanical Engineer. “Our new facility no longer suffers from these challenges and allows us to improve organization of equipment and enhance our efficiency as a company.”
“The biggest difference for the new space for me is the Augustus Lab 2.0,” said Garrett Robison, Integration and Testing Systems Engineer. “While it’s still growing, the purposeful implementation already feels more efficient and effective.”
“The new location makes it easier to show our customers the full scale of our capabilities, not just tell them about it,” added Price. “With advanced facilities, streamlined processes, and enhanced capabilities, Augustus offers faster prototyping, more efficient testing, and cutting-edge solutions tailored to evolving industry needs.”
